Background and Implications
As part of my capstone field class during my undergraduate, I created a geologic map of Mars. This was made using ArcGIS pro. I imported excel spreadsheets with crater data and a geology style package to properly represent the craters and faults. I used the IDW tool to create a geochemical map of the surface of Fe and Si, and additional figures in Excel. The final map layout is shown below with figures zoomed-in for easier viewing.
